I love the way the Hoyas are playing right now and I can even trust them on the road, where everyone has a tough time. They just ended Syracuse's home winning streak and I think they are a decent bit better than the Uconn Huskies. Let's go Hoyas, two big road games in a row...you can do it!

NBA PLAY OF THE DAY
** MIAMI ML(-150) at CHICAGO
With the way the Heat have been playing lately, they look exactly as good as they are capable of playing, and it's the right time of year- the second half stretch. Chicago is playing good ball also, but the Heat are just
clearly better right now and going on their third straight road game, I'd say this game is important to them. I'm taking the Money Line just in case it gets really close, which it should be, but I think Miami guts it out and wins.

TODAY'S PLAYS

NBA PLAY
** NEW ORLEANS +2.5 at CLEVELAND
The Cavs have had a whole week layover since they last played, and I don't trust that. Plus, the Hornets lost a tough game to a team who's playing very well last night. I see New Orleans continuing to play tough and getting past a below average team on the road tonight.
COLLEGE BBALL PLAY
** KANSAS +1 at OKLAHOMA ST
The Cowboys have a damn good squad this year, but as always, so do the Kansas Jayhawks, and I don't see Ok St sweeping them, especially with how good Kansas has looked since losing three straight.

COLLEGE BASKETBALL FREE PLAYS
* L.S.U. +8 at TENNESSEE
The Tigers have been playing some tough basketball lately and have progressed as a team. Their defense is pretty darn good, and I'm not taking too much into the Vols last big victory over Kentucky because the Wildcats didn't have their best player. I think this will be a very close, tough game and I like the Tigers' chances.
*** MICHIGAN ST -1.5 vs INDIANA
I think either one of these teams really could possibly win it all this year. The way the Spartans are playing right now, though, is as good as any in the country. Plus, they are at home and seeking sweet revenge on the Hoosiers for a 75-70 loss at Indiana prior in the season.

COLLEGE BBALL PLAY
* ILLINOIS +6.5 vs INDIANA
I think this could be a possible trap game for the Hoosiers. They are now No.1 in the nation and deserve that ranking for the time being. They are coming off of a big emotional home win vs Michigan and four day layover. Illinois will definitely bring their best tonight so I think this could be a bumpy road game for Indiana.

COLLEGE BBALL PLAY
** KANSAS ST -11 at TEXAS TECH
I like the way this Wildcat team can play defense, and they are going to go pretty deep in the tournament. I think they can dominate the Red Raiders on the road with no problem, because Tech is not that good.

NBA FRIDAY NIGHT PLAYS
* NEW ORLEANS +7 at DENVER
The Hornets are now on their fourth straight road game and I just have to go with them again, because this team fights. Eric Gordon did not play Wednesday night when they lost by five to the Jazz, but should be back in the line up tonight, so that's a big plus. The Nuggets are pretty hot and have won five in a row, but it aint easy winning six and the Hornets will make sure of that.
